I’m a man, an entrepreneur, a father and just an all-around decent guy. I was born in the heart of Saskatchewan and raised across the street from Alberta. I now live in southern Alberta. I’ve always been interested in things in general. Nothing specific really, since I like knowing a little about everything.
As a family man, I do love doing things with the kids. I play video games a lot with my son and horse around with my daughter. My wife seems to be doing something right with them since they are a couple of the most delightful kids to be around.
I love travelling, although I’ve only traveled to one country outside of the the typical North/Central America and Caribbean to this point, and that is Japan. You might see me writing about Japan once in a while since I’m learning the language as well, and studying culture, and what it might take to live there. I do from time to time put together videos on or in Japan.
I am a beer geek. How I define that is that even though I am a home brewer with a lot of beer on hand at all times, I will tend to drop a lot of money on craft beers frequently to try something new and interesting. I like to share my insights in my journey as a home brewer and help others to brew great beer.
Finally, I’m a bit of a gear head. I like cars, I like performance, I like the track. My goal in life is to take my little Ford Focus and rebuild it myself, tuning the engine, modifying the body, and preparing it for autocross events. I truly believe that high performance driving at the track is among one of the most fun things you can do with your pants on. Having said that, I also like to take care of my engine, and became an AMSOIL Independent Dealer, knowing that they develop some of the best products for my car today and tomorrow.
